JD and Jennifer were born and raised here in the Permian Basin and have raised all three of their kids here. Jennifer is from Midland and JD is from Odessa. JD went to Permian and graduated from UTPB.

The drive to be your Clear Choice for Roofing in West Texas started when JD’s elderly parents couldn’t get their roof covered after a hailstorm. The elderly couple were denied coverage of a hail claim with their insurance carrier that they had faithfully been with for years.

JD trained in Austin, Texas with Clear Choice Roofing, specializing in insurance claims, and afterward JD helped to tackle the denied claim and got the claim approved for the roof replacement that was so desperately needed.

Throughout the years, Clear Choice Roofing has become a roofing company that the community can trust and rely on. We operate out of honesty and integrity and treat everyone’s roof like it was our own. We are happy with the roofs that God gives us and we can sleep well at the end of the day, knowing we have helped people and treated them well.

Our customers can have peace of mind, knowing that after the storm has come and gone, we are still around. We are fully insured, certified, and a preferred contractor for residential and commercial roofing with Owens Coring, GAF, Duro-Last, and Mule-Hide. We have worked with the city and love charity work. We have partnered with Christmas in Action to help people in need. Helping the community is something we love to do, it’s a part of our ministry. Ministry is our first Joy, JD is a Pastor and has been in ministry going on 25 years. We like to say that we’re in the roofing business but strive to have a kingdom mindset and operate from heavenly places! We’ve experienced many miracles in our ministry, and believe that the recipe for healing is a relationship with the Healer!

We recently opened another branch in West Texas, where our oldest daughter lives with our son-in-law, who is a Purple Heart veteran, and together they have two precious grand babies.
